The Sea Trail Garden Club
“Bloom where you are planted” is much more than the motto of the Sea Trail Plantation Garden Club – it is truly the essence of its very existence. The Garden Club is not really a gardening club, as we know it, it is a welcoming bridge to Plantation life for newcomers, for visiting guests and for long-term members. With monthly meeting featuring a variety of programs, special projects that can last for several days, weeks or months, it affords an arena in which involvement is as little or great as the members wish. Special areas worthy of note include the annual “Make-it, Bake-it, Sew-it, Grow-It” Christmas Auction whose proceeds benefit Brunswick County charities, as well as Garden Club On-the-Go which schedules small group day trips to area points of interest.
Garden Club is open to any woman in Sea Trail and has annual dues of $25.00. Any one interested in joining call Joyce Hellmann 579-0273

Grandchildren coming? Need equipment or toys for them? Let Granny’s Closet help you out. Call Priscilla Donaldson or Anita Clark to borrow a crib, playpen, highchair, car seat, toys or anything else you might need.
If you have items you would be willing to lend to other Sea Trail grandparents, please contact any committee member. Any baby or child items are welcomed.
Granny’s Closet now has medical aids to lend also. If you need anything for home care or have articles to lend to others, contact Diane Kreuz burg 575-4333, Chris Woods 579-0052, Eileen Chamberlain 579-3111.
